After earning a degree in Engineering from Penn State, he found his interest in psychology led him to began reading books and listening to tapes from people like Brian Tracy, Wayne Dyer, Earl Nightingale, John Zulli and Tony Robbins. As his interest in psychology deepened, he began studying more formal approaches to emotional disturbances, especially different forms of Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

Significantly he began finding opportunities to help others with the skills learned from his mentors. Much of the support he offered centered around personal relationships, serious depression and even imminent suicide. Today he is a crisis counselor on the suicide hotline in Los Angeles, and speaks about natural ways to overcome depression.

His approach is deeply personal and he calls on several approaches to help his clients. Sessions might included elements of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Guided Subconscious Imagery, Neuro Linguistic Programming or a combination of these and other techniques.
