About Center for the Psychology of Women
At any point in each day you may be a daughter, a sister, a mother, a wife, a partner, a career person, a woman. Do you sometimes feel lost in all of these roles and wonder “where did I go, who have I become, and who am I?”
Center for the Psychology of Women recognizes that societal and personal views of sex, gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, religion, and age can influence and impact our mental health.
Our therapists provide non-judgmental and thought-provoking mediation on the social, cultural, and political factors that influence the roles we play in our lives, the transitions we make between these roles, and how it affects the way we think and feel about ourselves.
Together, we explore your strengths and weaknesses, and foster a caring environment for personal growth and self-awareness. We work with you in a spirit of collaboration, with mutual respect, toward meaningful change and improvement in the quality of life as you define it.
Center for the Psychology of Women is conveniently located West of Downtown Los Angeles in the Silver Lake / Echo Park area.
