Dr. Scott Katzman, MD is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with over 20 years of surgical experience under his belt. Dr. Katzman fulfilled his undergraduate requirements at the University of California (San Diego) before enrolling in medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Subsequently, Dr. Katzman completed a four-year surgical residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Arizona (Tuscon). In 1996, Dr. Katzman was awarded his board-certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Currently, Dr. Katzman serves as Chief Orthopedic Surgeon for Orthopedic & Laser Spine Surgery, NJ Spine & Orthopedic, Advanced Orthopedics & Neurosurgery, the Center for Artificial Disc Replacement, and the Stem Cell of Institute--of which he is also the founder. Dr. Katzman uses his expertise in orthopedics to instruct both his colleagues and various entities that require consulting, such as Johnson & Johnson, Clarus, Kyphon, and Orthocore. His minimally invasive techniques continue to shift the landscape of orthopedic surgery toward better surgical outcomes for patients.
