Asim Piracha
Asim Piracha, MD, is a board-certified cataract and refractive surgeon, credited with performing the first all-laser LASIK surgery in the state of Kentucky in 2003. A native of West Virginia, Dr. Piracha comes from a medical family; his father, brother and sister are all doctors. He graduated from West Virginia University School of Medicine with top honors and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society. He completed a highly specialized residency at the University of Kentucky where he was selected Senior Chief Resident in ophthalmology. Afterwards, he completed his fellowship at the University of Minnesota where he specialized in cornea, refractive and anterior segment surgery.Services
