Forgot to add that at 30 days, Marlena Romero LCSW Clinical Director and Laura Woodward LPC Lead Counselor, refused to release custody of our child to us, They only did so after we hired a lawyer and alerted the local media and law enforcement of a possible kidnapping. These people are unscrupulous! Patent BEWARE!!!

Our child became more angry and violent, ran away more, and had worsened sexualized behavior because of Marlena's incompetence. Marlena's claws and fangs appeared shortly after we asked questions about her (mis)treatment of our child. Without our knowledge Marlena approved to remove a diagnosis made by psychiatrists in multiple states and was diagnosed again by other psychiatrists. When we questioned Marlena and her crew about their experience with my child’s issues Marlena covered her incompetence by blaming us to "step up" and giving us a 30-day notice to remove our child from residential over the holidays. Marlena and her crew even told us to give up our child to foster care. One wonders if Marlena's vindictiveness stemmed from a child with 2 Dads? From Marlena's mistreatment, our child was rejected from over 40 RTCs in the US. I would keep children and loved ones away from Marlena until she herself receives much needed therapy and much more training for therapy, bedside manner, and cultural sensitivity most of all.
