Susan also earned her Doctor of Philosophy at Oxford Graduate School in Dayton, Tennessee, in 2004. Susan began her medical career as a registered nurse, assisting in surgical procedures. As a physician assistant, Susan finds real joy in meeting patients and listening, believing communication is fundamentally important and that patients teach and provide insights to all of us.
