Harold M Burkhart, MD, is a Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In addition, he is the Director of the Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgical Program at the Oklahoma Children's Hospital. He holds the CHF Brandon Weeden Chair of Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery and the Paul H and Doris Eaton Travis Chair in Thoracic Surgery. Prior to joining the University of Oklahoma in 2014, he was a Professor of Surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
