He earned a bachelor’s degree in biological science from the University of California, Irvine and his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. He completed his residency at the Upper Peninsula Health Center, Marquette Family Medicine in Michigan, where he served as chief resident and achieved the Faculty Recognition of Outstanding Resident award.
