10 slices of bacon
1 head of fresh broccoli, cut into florets
¼ cup red onion, chopped
½ cup raisins
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sunflower seeds
Cook the bacon in a skillet on medium-high heat until it is evenly brown, then drain. When cool, crumble the bacon into bits and place to the side.
Next, combine the broccoli, onion, and raisins in a bowl. In a mixing bowl, mix the vinegar, sugar, and mayonnaise together. Combine the dressing with the broccoli mixture. Refrigerate the broccoli mixture for at least two hours.
Mix in the bacon and sunflower seeds prior to serving.
