As a local psychologist, I have referred a number of my adolescent patients to Dr. Bomze for consultations and medical treatment, especially in the very challenging area of eating disorders, and also for sports medicine issues. I have found him to be especially attuned to my adolescent patients, and really knowledgeable and up-to-date in the research. And I have to mention his "bedside manner." Even though he runs an extremely busy practice, he always returns my calls and explains his findings, including blood test results. I can tell from our phone discussions that he really cares, too! The mom of one of my teens (who is herself a practicing physician) reported back to me, "He's a really good doc; he really knows what he's talking about." Knowing that Dr. Bomze is part of my support team, looking out for the medical side of things, really gives me the peace of mind that I need, so I can focus most of my attention on the psychological issues. I highly recommend him to new parents and experienced parents.
