My time with Dr. Skaar during my visits were very beneficial. She was competent and thorough and performed her treatments in a non threatening manner and was always keen to the ministrations she gave. Though massages were far and few between for me, her medical skills were excellent when I was in need of them (enemas).

Her treatments started with a consultation, followed by a thorough exam which included the taking of my rectal temperature on every visit, followed by the necessary administration of the enema she felt I needed. My visits saw me given any number of enemas from fleets to 6 quart double inflatable bardex retention enemas as well as therapeutic holistic enemas for liver detox (coffee enemas).
I am sorry she is no longer available. She was a good doctor and I only wish I could find another practitioner like her.

I was in New York to do some theater work. A cast member told me about Anne Marie. I went to her and had an excellent enema! She was firm, but caring. Just what I needed. I felt so much better. I went back several times. She would give me a large soapy enema, slowly, and I was amazed with firm encouragement how much I was able to hold and retain. That made it work so well. Then, I'd get a rinse enema. Even though I was totally drained I left with a bounce, and I sure slept well every night after her treatments. If I'm ever in New York again, I'd go back. Amber

It has been more than five years since I had to visit Anne Marie Skaar, but I remember how nice she was. I used to have New York as part of my territory and was there several times a year, often after having been on the road for several weeks. This often led to being quite sluggish and down.

It was my wife who found Dr. Skaar and sent me. I knew I'd likely be getting an enema, or a colonic, so I wasn't too keen to keep the appointment. Dr. Skaar was so nice she made it easy and I felt so much better afterwards that on subsequent occasions when I had to visit I was far more at ease.

It may be easier for women, I don't know, but talking sluggish, enemas and such with a woman, who isn't my wife, isn't something that comes easy to this man and Dr. Skaar made it easy. She also corresponded several times with my wife about my treatments which was very helpful to both of us.

Kind, gentle, classy, warm, empathetic are all words that apply. So do professional, dedicated, encouraging and firm.

She made sure every single question I had was answered, and was always available if I had any more questions I wanted answered. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting her. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I have had many visits to Anne Marie Skaar for massage and colonic. Every appointment was excellent. Made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and totally satisfied with expert treatments. Simply the best!
