I've lived in North Atlanta for over 20 years and have used many chiropractors. No one has ever seemed to really get the job done until I went to Dr. Batchelor. When I come out of his office, I always feel like a load has been lifted from my lower back. Sometimes you can just feel when someone has that special talent and when someone doesnt. Dr. Batchelor has it. I highly recommend him.

I injured my lower back at work 14 years ago and ever since then it has never been the same. I had went to several orthopedic surgeons but I was told I needed disc surgery. I opted out since there is no guarantee with surgery. One of my friends had back surgery and he was worse aftewards and now is completely disabled.
I normally have a very high pain threshold and can take just about anything but recently the pain in my back and legs had become very intense and I knew that I did not do something I was going to suffer a great deal in the future. When the pain would get severe in the past, I would take some hardcore pain killers but now they were having little effect on my level of pain. I was to the point where I was willing to do just anything except surgery.
My wife had recently went to Dr. Batchelor for her neck and he helped her tremendously so I decided to make an appointment at his clinic. The staff was very nice and so was Dr. Batchelor. Dr. Batchelor examined me and arrived at a diagnosis. He treated me with some physical therapy and traction and then he used chiropractic to adjust the last bone in my lower back. About 20 minutes into my treatment, the doctor said "Ok lets give it a try. Stand up and move around". For the past several years I have had to use my arms to help myself get up from lying down because of the pain but as I got up off the table I did not have to use my arms to get up. As I stood up, the pain was gone. I was impressed!! To this day, I feel like a new person and am fortunate to have found an outstanding doc!!

As a result of a rear end whiplash injury, I had developed an excruciating pain in my neck. To top it off, I lost my job as a teacher because of cutbacks. By chance, during my walk, I met Dr. Batchelor at the Chattahoochee where he was preparing his bike for a ride. His van had the name of his clinic on it so I stopped and talked to him. He was very informative so I made an appointment for treatment at his clinic for the following day. His staff was very helpful and I felt at ease the entire time. Dr. Batchelor was able to give me 50-75% relief during the first treatment. I came in the following day and I felt 100% afterwards. Dr. Batchelor was very nice. He did not even charge me for the treatment because he knew that I had lost my job and was having financial difficulty. He is truly the nicest and most caring doctor that I have met. He changed my life for the better.

Its not too common that you find a gifted Doc like Dr. Batchelor. He can read your body exceptionally well and can tell you where it hurts even without you telling him. The other nice thing is that he is a PPO provider for United Healthcare so I just pay $10. Besides being highly talented and effective and covered by insurance, what more do you need?

I usually do not write reviews but I was impressed with Dr. Batchelor and his staff so her it goes. I was examined by Dr Batchelor and I was very impressed with his ability to read my body and know what was going on. When he arrived at a diagnosis, it was spot on. When he treated me, he was very effective. Some doctors have it and some do not. Dr. Batchelor has the touch. He also prepared a sheet with specific corrective exercises for me so that I could strengthen the weak areas of my back. I really enjoyed the visit to his office. Co-pay was only $10. His staff was very polite and efficient. I recommmend them highly.

Last month I was playing with my kid in the yard. I lifted him and felt a bolt of lightning stick into my right rib cage and lower back. I could hardly breath. All bent over, I got in my car and went to Dr. Batchelors office.
Dr. Batchelor had helped me in the past so I went to his office as soon as I could. He checked me out and found a rib head that had popped out of position. He gently manipulated the rib and I could hear it snap into position. I took a deep breath to see if the pain was there and it was gone as well as the pain in my lower back. When I walked into his office, I was all bent over like an old person. When I walked out of the office, I felt like dancing. Dr. Dan is the man. Thanks doc!!!!

I would rate the value of the service to be average; poorly placed stem treatment, quick stretching and adjusting for about $150 per visit. But it is the lack of professionalism that will never bring me back.

Due to an honest oversight on our behalf of the way in which this business was to be paid out from our insurance company we ended up owing him money. Because they are out of network we received checks from our insurance company which were apparently supposed to go to Dr. Batchelor. Because my wife had a baby at the same time as my treatment we were receiving refunds, rebates, and all other types of communication from our insurance company on a daily basis. What we thought to be another refund was actually Dr. Batchelor's payment.

This was brought to my attention by his office manager with an initial call demanding immediate payment so that they would not have to move this to Small Claims Court. They were kind enough to follow up with an e-mail stating their desire to clear this up so that my wages would not have to be garnished from my company. Once I realized what had happened and that it was my mistake I promptly paid them in full, within an hour of their call. I gave them the advice that threats on an initial follow up call are not necessary and that the way they handled the situation was less than professional. All I got back from them was a sarcastic remark. It is safe to say that I will never again put my health in the hands of such an unprofessional organization.

I have been an MD working in North Fulton for the past 14 years. I was helped by Dr. Batchelor after the so called "Best in Atlanta" could not help me. After years of suffering from chronic neck and rib pain, Dr. Batchelor diagnosed cervical neuritis and intercostal neuralgia. He treated me with physical therapy combined with chiropractic and after 2 visits the nerve pressure was eliminated. My neck and rib feel perfect and I thank Dr. Batchelor for finding the cause and correcting it. I have certainly changed my ways of thinking when it comes to medicine and chiropractic. Working together for the good of the patient has become paramount.

Over the years I have used many different chiropractors for the treatment of my lower back pain issues. The one that stands out is the one I use now. Dr. Batchelor has helped me through the times when I thought I could not be helped. Hes a great athlete and doctor and I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for the best. Another benefit is that he is a PPO provider and my insurance covered 100%. Also besides fixing my back, he has helped me rehabilitate the area with a exercise program that he developed for my condition.

I lifted a weight at the fitness center and thought I had broken my back. The sound was loud and other people near me actually heard the bone move out of position. I want to Dr. Dan who I had know about for years. He checked me out, treated me with therapy and then adjusted my lower back. That same sound occur when he treated me but this time it was from the bone moving into position and not out of position. I stood up and felt like a new man. I was actually able to work out the next day as if nothing had happened to my back. Thanks Doc for getting back into action. I dont know what I would have done had I not known about you. Thanks!!!
