I had my entire mouth redone with Dr. Tran. 28 teeth total and my smile is beautiful. I get compliments almost everyday. My family also loves my teeth and are going in to see Dr. Tran. I paid $20,000 total and it was worht every dime. I got two other opinions before I decided on Familycare Dental. The other offices were 30% more $ and not even close to as comfortable as I felt in Dr. Trans chair. I strongly recommend this office for all your dental needs.

On August 19, 2009 my son Justin had an appointment with Family Care Dental for a routine check-up. They said Justin had a minor cavity and gave us a treatment plan for $443. My wife asked the young lady if this price included our insurance coverage. She said, yes it did. They asked us to schedule an appointment, and my wife did so for the next week August 26th , but only for the cavity work. I called Golden West to question the treatment plan. Darlene from Golden West called the dental office to help us with this issue. She spoke with Robert Levin R.D.A. Mr. Levin misrepresented the truth to Darlene, as never having spoken with my wife. He indicated to her that we had requested a certain treatment, and that my son was difficult, and the doctor recommended us seeing a pediatric dentist. After receiving this information from Darlene, I decided to speak with Mr. Levin myself, thinking that this was just a big misunderstanding. There was another little boy in the office at the same time. My older son said he heard the other boy making a fuss. My son Justin said he made no fuss at all, and cooperated completely.
I called and spoke to Mr. Levin and asked if he was confusing Justin with the other patient that was there at the time. I informed him that he never spoke with my wife. He insisted that he was making no mistake. I asked him why they were not honoring the insurance coverage that they had taken from us for nearly a decade. He told me that there is no such thing as a free lunch and said we had to go to another dentist. I asked him, if my son was difficult, and the dentist suggested that we go to another dentist, why was my wife not notified, and why would they schedule another appointment for us to do the work. At this point Mr. Levin became very agitated and said he was canceling our appointment. I asked if I could speak with a supervisor. He said he was the office manager and the final decision maker. I said that we have been going to Family Care Dental for 10 years and that I wanted them to do the work. I asked how much would the work be if they just did the cavity, he said is as around $115, but he would knock it down to $100 and write that down of the file. I asked if we still had the same date and time for the appointment and he said yes. Later, I called back Family Care Dental and confirmed the appointment with another young lady, I believe her name was Rosie.
I then spoke with Maria from Golden West and told her that Family Care Dental was not honoring our insurance, but would do the work for $100. Maria told me to print out a claim form and have the dentist fill it out and that Golden West would reimburse us the difference between the procedure and our insurance coverage. On August 26th my wife arrived for the appointment at 9:00 am. The receptionist did not have us down for an appointment. My wife handed the receptionist the appointment card and handed the receptionist the claim form, and informed her that we needed the dentist to sign this after the procedure in order to get reimbursed from our insurance carrier. After a while, Mr. Levin came out of the office and spoke with my wife. He said they would not fill it out. My wife asked if the dentist would just sign the form after the work was completed to show that the work was done. Again Mr. Levin said no. This upset my wife very much. She grabbed both boys and began to leave. Mr Levin asked her if she still wanted the work done. My wife said no, and left.
