I was hoping to get some sample toothbrushes or toothpaste after my appointment, but I didn't get anything. They didn't seem like they wanted to listen to almost everything I had to say. They left me alone in the appointment room for quite a while.
Heres' what happened: I recently moved here from California where I had been seeing my dentist for over 20 years. I've had my teeth cleaned every 4 months for all that time. This office required that I have X-rays done before they would do anything. I'm retired and on a fixed income and I didn't want to pay for that, but they have an introductory offer for $49.95 so I agreed. Then the hygienist told me the X-rays showed I had some plaque that needed to be removed and they would have to do deep cleaning which would require 4 visits at $249 per visit. I didn't agree. After a long wait the dentist came to see me and tried to convince me of the necessity for the deep cleaning. I said I couldn't afford the $1000 for the 4 visits and asked wouldn't they just do a standard cleaning. I said isn't doing something for me better than nothing? I asked, since I'm 69 years old, and my life expectancy isn't much more than another 15 years at the outside, does this deep cleaning really seem necessary? I said why wouldn't you just do a regular cleaning like I've been having done for the last 20 years? They still refused to do ANYTHING! I would definitely not recommend this dental practice. It appears they are far more interested in their income than the health of their patients.

I made an appointment with Dr. Bybee this past week and was more than pleased with everything about my experience!! He was incredibly professional and made me feel extremely comfortable! I have had dental anxiety in the past, but Dr. Bybee and his staff put me at ease. I will be recommending him to everyone I know! If you're looking for a new dentist in Bend he's the best! Honest, sincere and truly cares about what the patient wants!

Really good dental office. Saw Dr Bybee - he did a great job explaining everything.

Treatment was taking care of very timely and always felt comfortable.

Can't say enough good things about the office.
