Dr. Dollar is the WORST doctor ever. I went to him for a few years because he was on my insurance plan. He doesn't listen. He goes on speeches that are impossible to interrupt. He is condescending and yelled at me, calling an addict because I have ADD diagnosed from my medical psychologist. I would LOVE to turn his front office staff in for HIPPA violations. They talk to you about your case, insurance information, and anything else they want to in front of the entire waiting room. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!!

I liked Dr. Dollar and when he had an FNP (Theresa)I really liked her as well. However, reception staff is focused on collecting money and frequently overchages for co-pays resulting in you paying out money they keep to apply to your balances. They demand payment of deductibles and co-pays at the time of service even though my Insurance Company asks that this not be done. I was told by the Receptionist that the Dr. would simply not take that companies patients if they couldn't collect at the time of service. The business manager is not customer friendly and treats one who is late paying a small amount of money like they tried to rob Fort Knox. Both the Reception staff and the Business manager will address your need to pay clearly in front of others in the waiting room (may be a HIPPA violation as it is more than "casual" conversation that folks in the waiting room can hear).

The one medically related concern I've had is that it appears that the medical staff missed the fact that I had become quite anemic even though there were plenty of symptoms pointing to this for a number of months and a number of blood labs were performed during that time which may have reflectd such. My Cardiologist was the one who picked up on my anemia and my Gastroenterologist that identified the most likely causitive issue and now after 2 trips to the ER and about 3 months of specific medications, my anemia is in remission.

Ultimately I walked out on this practice not intending to return only to be informed later, by letter, that I had been "fired" as a patient because our "professional relationship has changed". Now that is a new one to me - imagine being fired as a patient. I've never had any disagreement with the medical staff at this practice and believe I was "fired" as a patient simply because I confronted the business manager when I was being asked to pay my balance before I was to be seen vs. paying the balance and any new charges after the service that day.

What I've said above is true and without embellishment and is nothing I'm afraid of saying to anyone and I have no fear related to the statement resulting in the possibility of liability for what one posts, as the facts are the facts.
