Sold out all his patients after 15 years plus to change practice to a conceirge doctor that you have to pay an additional $ 4,000.00 per couple per year.
Not a caring doctor anymore in our view. We are seniors and just thrown out of his practice for money

Glenn has been my doctor for 7 years now. I love him. He explains the issues and what he's concerned with, treatments and expectations. Now that I'm 55 I'd say he has been the best doctor I've ever had.

I found Dr Glenn Soppe to be rude and condescending in his verbal style, and generally burnt-out on functioning in the American Helath Care system. He very clearly is not interested in new patients unless you want to spend $1800/year on a "VIP Concierge" membership which gets you nothing more than Glenn's willingness to spend time with you and a routine annual physical with a few extra tests you may or may not need. The tests that are "included" in the VIP membership are all covered by standard health insurance, so you don't need to spend an extra $1800 bucks to Glenn for access these items.

Bottom Line: I went to Glenn as he was recommended by someone I trust. After meeting him and spending time with him, he is too unavailable and too condescending to get the job. I replaced Glenn with Dr Perry Sexton who has an excellent practice in Encinitas.

While he might be a cool guy to surf and drink a beer with - I would not recommend Glenn to anyone who is not already a friend of his, or a friend of a friend of his - or you are willing to spend an extra $1800 a year for the privelege of working with a burnt-out condescending doctor.

Go elsewhere.

Is this provider willing to pursue advice from other providers when necessary?
No, and they didn't want me to seek anyone else's opinion
Was this provider sympathetic to your situation?
Not at all. It was obvious they didn't care about me
Would you refer this provider to a family or friend?
No, If I had known how terrible they were I never would have gone.

I walked up to the counter in prescriber Soppe’s office. The Ipod so loud that I could barley talk. When I asked to turn it down, I got a chick pissed glare. The office manager was incompetent in straightening out a bill. A bill came for an annual covered checkup. The excuse: “insurance companies usually don’t cover annual checkups so we used a different billing code.” Changing the billing code is dishonest billing! It backfired and I ended up holding the bag. Also prescriber soppe wrote me a prescription while I was being seen for my annual checkup. Get this: he charged for two office visits at once. He also offered a service that costs over a $1000 a year. It covers talking to him. Yes, you read right. Extra to talk to him. What a churn and earn mentality. This guy has an elitist heart, but tries to act like a cool surf dude. The guy is a disgrace and his office is unconcerned and on estrogen overload. Stay away!
