They seemed really knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions in-depth. I understood all my options fully and they really took the time to make sure my questions were answered. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places. Dr Spalding was also great after I had the baby. She recognised my post partum depression and was able to handle it quickly.

No, if they had music on it was very soothing

Dr. Spalding is the only lady doctor I ever go to. She helps me with my birth control from the time I start. When I get married and have my baby she also take care of me. She answer my question and my husband always. I go from Miami to Hollywood to see only her. I like to see a lady doctor and she is very nice and have right answers to me.

I have a history of difficulties with my pregnancys. Dr. Spalding was recommended by a friend. Dr. Spalding "held my hand" from beginning to end explaining my options and potential pathways. It turned out that I needed a procedure to allow my baby to develop without being born prematurely. She did the surgery and saved my baby's life (I had lost two before I met Dr. Spalding). When the time came she even delivered my blessed son when she was not on call at 3a.m.! She is a gift from God. I bless her every day.

I have worked in a Doctor's office a in my early 20's, I do understand Doctors are normal human beings with bad days and that most of them are really busy but I had the fortune of working with a good Doctor and I saw how caring he was. I have given this Dr: Helen Spalding so many opportunities thinking that she had bad days or that she was really busy but I think that after 6 appointments is time for a change and let other patients know what do I think about this Doctor. I thought that as a woman she will be more understanding and more sensitive, I was so wrong!! The only reason that I stayed this long besides the hassle of getting another Doctor, is being her nurse Luz, she is being so great caring, understanding and sweet in the moments that I need it. Once I had an appointment and something came up and we had to wait for the results, I got really nervous and start crying , the doctor left and she send Luz her nurse like and she didn't come back, I thank the nurse so much and told her that the Doctor need it to learn so much from her. In every appointment that I had she never took the time to answer my questions even though all the times were short and easy and she always look on a hurry.
Today was my last appointment, I asked her about a new birth control method and she only comment that I may gain weight with the shots. Nothing else, no more suggestions only to get of the pill , she didn't sit down to advice me more. All this time I was right, I was only a number for her, only more money for her. Guess she lost one customer, she will probably won't care but to all Doctors out there: You are dealing with Human beings that have questions about their health and sometimes we are scared when we deal with something new.
