I've been going to Dr. Knight for close to 9 years and he's been a wonderful doctor and has helped me tremendously.

But now he has disappeared w/out a trace and has taken my medical files which has important information about MRI's,, X-Rays, blood work reports, EMT reports in which I've taken at least 4 times, its a painful process, I've done everything he's told me to do. He referred me to a great neurologist (who performed the EMT on me) I had other doctors give me the EMT tests as well but was working closely w/Dr. Knight and the neurologist he referred me to, but NOW since he has up and left his patients w/o any new location - I've been having horrible horrific pain; He told me he was moving b/c the rent was going up so he was relocating to another facility either in Bucktown (Metairie) or in Kenner somewhere. He has people who hired investigators to find him b/c he was suppose to be giving opinions on another person's medical information after he was in a accident - he was hit by one those huge diesel trucks and Dr. Knight has all of his information - the attorney had his client take new MRI's and CAT scans which Dr. Knight has in his possession. It is URGENT that WE find Dr. Knight so that I can get my medical records and this other person get his medical records that are pertinent to his court case... PLEASE ANYBODY WHO KNOWS WHERE WE CAN FIND DR. KNIGHT contact me ldddhunter@yahoo.com. We ONLY want our medical records - Dr. Knight himself isn't in any trouble again its important we reach him ONLY to retrieve our medical records. Its not right to keep your patients hanging like he's done, if he moved to another location he should contact ALL his patients w/his new address. Believe me he is literally MIA; I asked doctor to please look up Dr. Knight's name on the Louisiana Medical Board and he said Dr. Knight had no "red flags" and wasn't in any trouble so I don't know what is going on w/his practice. I adored Marie the lady at the front desk, and hope she's doing ok b/c she's been feeling bad for awhile. I knew her sister Mercy who died a few years ago, she was an excellent help for his office. I feel ever since he hired some new people things were never the same again. So he is not in trouble yet he hasn't reached out to his patients, I even tried his home phone number and its out of service; something is going on here and all I'm asking for is the medical records that belong to me and another person who I feel very responsible for b/c I recommended him to Dr. Knight for his court case, which isn't some "small accident", this was a HUGE company (very well known) that are responsible and the driver of the diesel truck got a ticket - PLEASE AGAIN CONTACT ME @ ldddhunter@yahoo.com this would be a GREAT help if we could locate Dr. William Knight, this is not like Dr. Knight leaving his patients in the wind. Its also dangerous for his patients who were taking medication and its not wise for them to just stop as it could be very harmful to his patients. PLEASE HELP ME - you don't need to go into detail - just a location of where Dr. Knight is would help not only me but many other of his patients as well.. Thank you

I've been a patient of Dr. Knight for 14 years now, following my first spinal surgery. I've now had 3 spinal surgeries, and continue to see him on a regular basis. Despite his very busy and hectic schedule, he never makes you feel rushed and always takes the time to listen to your questions and answer them. He's also interested to hear of new information or treatment options you may have learned of, that he wasn't previously aware of. If he doesn't have an answer for your specific problem, he will refer you to someone else who may be able to help you.

Since he is so busy, you can't always get the appointment time you request and in treating patients who are dealing with chronic pain due to surgical or other reasons, he may run behind schedule, but you can be assured that when it's YOUR time to see him, he will do everything he can for you, so keep that in mind if you're the kind of person who gets angry if a doctor is late. I know I've been the patient who has caused him to run behind occasionally, and I fully appreciate his attention when I am there.

He treats all of his patients with respect and dignity and always tries to make sure there's an individual treatment plan for each patient - in other words, he's not a "cookie-cutter" type doctor who treats everyone the same. He has incredible knowledge of the human anatomy and will provide you with as many treatment options as he deems appropriate for your specific condition - from several types of injection therapy, referrals to physical therapy, orders for TENS units or other durable medical equipment, exercise and stretches for your specific condition.

He's compassionate and honest, and I trust him 100% due to the excellent care and quality of life he has helped give me. You won't find a better physical medicine doctor in this area, but please, don't take advantage of him and waste his time and the time of patients like myself, who truly need him and are willing to work with him and do what he suggests, as he tries to help you. If you're a patient looking for a doctor who just hands out prescriptions, this is not the doctor for you. Dr. Knight is a doctor who truly wants to help people, and you have to be willing to help yourself in the process.
