I tried to set up an appointment for my son because his pediatrician today said that he needed to see a dermatologist, because he did not know what kind of rash he had developed over the last 12 hours that covered his whole upper body. My son has been to this Dr before but it had been over 2 year since his last visit and the person on the phone basically told me that because it was a one time thing that it was not as important as the other patients that come in with chronic issues and that she did not have an appointment open till April 16th. So much for a specialist being there for cases that a regular Dr cannot help with in a decent amount of time to try to help resolve the issues The staff member on the phone did not seem to care at all that this was something that just came up out of no where and she was politely telling me that there was nothing she could do at all. Least helpful Dr office I have ever tried to make an appointment at. She also told me that because it had been over 2 years that they normally make the person wait the standard 2 week new patient waiting period. If he was a new patient it would be one thing but he has been there before. REALLY

I had a small cyst removed from my back. It was stitched up & I had to come back to have the stitches removed. The suture ripped open. When I came back in I did not get to see the doctor. The nurse treated me. She could not find the stitches and said they must have fallen out. I knew they had not and said, "No, they are still in there." She said then they would work their way out on their own. Six months later, they still have not "worked their way out". I made an appt. last week to have the incision checked. It still had not healed all the way, there is a small hole in the incision and I confirmed that a stitch is still in there. When I made the appt. I requested to have the Dr. look at it and remove the stitch. When I arrived for my appointment the receptionist said I would have to pay a $40 copay. I was in shock, as it is their fault I was there. She said if I wanted to see the nurse it would be free. REAllY!! She is the one that could not get it out, I asked the receptionist if I see her and she still cannot get it out, then what? She just shrugged. Well, the nurse could not get it out and I was told to come back every week or so and she would check it. She said sometimes the body does not dissolve the dissolveable stitches. THEY WERE NOT DISSOLVALBE STITCHES, THAT IS WHY THEY HAD ME COME IN AFTER SURGERY, TO HAVE THE STITCHES REMOVED!! I am extremely dissatisfied with the office. Dr. Jensen, herself; is a great doctor, but the way this situatijon was handled was very poor.

I have been to many offices in different cities, since I am a grad student with acne and have moved around a lot. I got courteous, efficient service and was given many handouts and samples and--when the insurance didn't cover my medicine--the doctor's office provided a large trade size of medicine for me!!!

I had the best experience. Most skin doctors just walk in and out and the nurses do all the talking. Dr. Jensen explained how to use the medicine and what to expect. I am better than I have ever been and will be back to see her when I need. I am happy to refer my friends to her.
