I began seeing Dr. Shortell when I moved back into the state about 3 months ago. I was nervous, as I had only been to one chiropractic practice previously in my old state and have been experiencing chronic pain for about 3 years. Dr. Shortell performed physical and neurological evaluations and was able to tell me what my symptoms most likely were, including things I did not mention at all and did not even realize could be related to a chiropractic issue! There have been many times that I felt I must be crazy, or even worse, stuck with an incurable ailment since no suggestions of "just try this" or "just change that" seemed to even remotely help my symptoms, even though they supposedly seemed to help others. It turns out I just wasn't getting the correct treatment until I met Dr. Shortell. I have noticed more drastic improvements since receiving care from Dr. Shortell in just a few months than I have in 3 years. While there is still work to do, I am more functional, have a better quality of life, and feel more "normal" than I can remember feeling in quite a long time! An additional bonus is that Dr. Shortell and all of his staff are always friendly and professional, making their patients feel as comfortable as possible during uncomfortable times.

I was told by an Orthopedic doctor that I may need a plate and 2 screws into my spine for a herniated disc which seemed very extreme to me so I worked with Dr. Shortell to align my spine doing exercises and treatments as well as physical therapy from my Dr. as suggested and have improved and have no plans to have surgery or use of medication. Dr. Shortell has explained exactly what is needed along with a positive attitude. I suggest anyone to try chiropractic before anything else. He's compassionate, caring and professional and I'm glad he's here to help.

I have been attending Dr. Shortell's healing practice for years. He came and spoke at our church during a health seminar we held years ago. I found out that over the years my spine had started to curve because of years of sitting at the computer. Dr. Shortell has since corrected that problem. Maintenance is important to me. As you get older you have to keep things in perspective and running smoothly. Dr. Shortell has assisted me with this process. I feel much better every time I leave his office both physically and mentally. I'm pleased with the caring and kindness of his staff as well. If you need healing nd want to be blessed, this is the place to go.

Dr. Shortell is thorough with his exam and follow ups, which as a dental professional I appreciate. I began seeing him for severe neck pain and in a couple months, I feel so much better. No longer am I taking advil several times a day due to the pain in my neck and the severe headaches that went with the neck pain. Other conditions due to the original problem is being corrected as well, such as dizziness and a feeling od just being "off". I have kept with his prescription of treatment and feel much better for, I am sure my 4 children are thrilled that I am more active and happier around them. Thank you Dr. Shortell.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shortell for several years. He has helped me with lower back problems and a few other medical problems. I have found more relief through him then other practioners such as physical therapists. Dr. Shortell is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I strongly recommend his practice

I am pleased with the progress I am making under Dr. Shortell's care.
I am an extremely sensitive person and Dr. Shortell has been able to adapt his therapies to my sensitiveness and still be very effective at reducing my discomfort.

I look forward to even more progress under his continued care.

Dr. Shortell is amazing. I was seeing another chiropracter and just switched to him. I was seeing him for regular adjustments for alignments. I just got into a car accident and contacted him immediately. He took me right away and did an exam. Found out I had muscle spasms, which is common in car accidents. A month later and after seeing him 3x per week- i feel great and much better! I recommend him highly! So glad I switched Drs!

Dr. Shortell is always flexible and available. It is obvious he truly cares about his patients. He is extremely knowledgable in his field of expertise. In addition to myself, he has treated my husband and my two children who are highly involved in sports. He has always been there when we have needed a visit. I have recommended him to many people and they have all been satisfied. He is a great chiropractor and human being. I highly recommend him.

I have struggled with herniated discs since 2005. The back pain became so debilitating last January 2014 that I started missing work and could not carry any weight. I saw an orthopedic surgeon who recommended Dr. Shortell instead of surgery (which is unusual). "This guy is good", he told me. And he was right. Dr. Shortell took X-rays, performed a thorough exam, analyzed my MRI, and gave me a proper diagnosis (hyperlordosis). Based on his diagnosis, he then used specially selected chiropractic adjustments, home exercises, and electro-therapy to completely heal my back over a 2 month period. I now routinely go on 60-70 mile bike rides and can sit for long periods of time without any pain. Dr. Shortell is very knowledgeable, always takes the time to give thoughtful advice, and is just a great guy.

I've been seeing Dr. Shortell for many years now and couldn't be happier with the services I've received. Never once have I felt as if un-necessary visits were recommended or scheduled, and the appointments have always gone smoothly. He has a friendly office staff and I have never hesitated to spread the word of the great service I've received over the years. If you need a chiropractor give him a visit!
