If you have an appointment with Dr Milner be prepared to wait hours to see him. You are shuffled from one waiting room to the next. I had a 5:00 apointment and did not leave until after 8:00. The doctor rushed thru my visit. I had no time to ask questions. The fee I had to pay to sit in his waiting room for over 3 hours was outrageous. I have an HSA Account so I pay the bill. After going to this practice for 2 months I was still no closer to finding out what was wrong with my eyes. I am aware of how many different eye drops a doctor can prescribe when they have no idea what they are doing.

This "doctor" packs in the patients. Expect to wait for HOURS! His assessment of the situation (over three visits) was so pathetic that a child could probably have made the same simple assessment -- here, try some drops and rest your eyes. This would be fine if Dr. Milner was not charging exorbitant "specialist" rates. In addition, because this appointment was paid out of an HSA account, it was shocking to see the cost (previously hidden because it only appeared to cost a co-pay fee). OK that's my own ignorance coming out, but the HSA maybe keeps us all honest. When this was brought to Dr Milner's attention, an adjustment was made to the extremely high office fee. This made it seem as if there is some odd manipulation when patients pay out of pocket vs. patients who simply slap down the co-pay and let the insurance company take care of the details.

I honestly hope your visit with Dr Milner is better than this one. If you do end up there, at least make a comment that confirms or balances out these multiple visits.
