Definitely! They did a thorough investigation to make sure I'd get the best treatment

I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. They are completely committed to helping me as long as it takes to find the best solution. I never have to worry that they'll back out or give up if a solution isn't reached immediately, which has been a problem for me at other places.

Dr. Lerner was very thorough and professional in diagnosing and treating my adult ADD. I have been treated for ADD by two other Psychiatrist in the past. I didn't like the idea of going through the process of retesting, a standard occurrence when relocating or changing health care plans or changing Doctors.I'm so glad I found Dr. Lerner through another Psychiatrist practicing in Boulder who referred me to Dr. Lerner for his extensive knowledge in the treatment of ADHD. Referring Doctor also stated that he often consults with Dr.Lerner on medication issues and treatment options of his ADHD patients. It was a no brainer for me. If a well respected Doctor calls another doctor for advice, chances are he's an expert in his field.
Upon my first visit I didn't think Dr. Lerner was very personable because I was off my medication and found it hard to stay on point. Picture watching a soccer game and at a key point in the match one of the players stops on the field to pick flowers. I did not like being redirected so many times and I'm quite certain it was very frustrating for Dr. Lerner. He told me we had allot of ground to cover in one hour and it would mean finishing up another day. Looking back on that first appointment I am grateful that he cared enough to be so thorough. My other Psychiatrist just wrote the scripts leaving me with unanswered questions. The second apointment Dr. Lerner talk to me about my condition. He was extreamly helpful in answering all of my questions.Dr. Lerner listened and responded to my health concerns and incorperating ADD medication to fit my individual needs. I left Dr. Lerner's office feeling confident I don't have any other underligning mental illness. I felt reasured that if in the future something develope that Dr. Lerner would find and treat. I felt reasured DR. Lerner cares for people who suffer from ,mental ilness and related illnesses. I believe Dr. Lerner to be a wonderful advicate and believe he would stand up to any form of descrimination of the mentally ill.Most of all I would recommend Dr. Lerner because for the first time I feel some self acceptance and having ADD is OK with me.
