I have mixed reviews on this dentist. He did a great job on my implants but have had problems with other work. I had pain on a tooth that needed to be crowned and he was in such a rush he did the crown first then had to drill through the crown, to do the rootcanal, which destroyed the crown. I then asked him to redo it and he proceeded to give me crappy crowns that fell apart. The trauma to the area caused gum recession and now there is a permanent hole between my tooth and gums. He caused this. I am debating whether to take action against him for this.

Also, the other gentleman is correnct that David is not always honest. He also told me that staining was cavities and that a root canal done short needed to be redone or I might lose the tooth. Totally untrue.

For implants I might recommend him but for anything else find another dentist. Dr. Hackman in Northridge is good and very honest.

I had the worst experience!!!
I felt like they were just trying to make money off me because they kept pressuring me to get dental procedures that I know weren't necessary.
What happened to me was that I had a stain on my front tooth and I went to see Dr. Harpaz, immediately he said I have 2 cavities and need a fill, when I asked how much it's going to cost I was told it's $360!!! I have insurance and I called them, I was told that I DON'T NEED TO PAY FOR A FILL!!!
Moreover, Dr. Harpaz office gave me a bogus "medical code" so it took me a while to get to the fact that I don't need to pay for the fill and hadn't I insisted I would have never found out that it is covered by my insurance.
And this is not the end of it!!! I went to my orthodontist because I have braces and he had to remove one of the brackets in order for the treatment to be done. When he looked at my x-rays he said I have NO CAVITY!!! Then he polished the tooth and showed me it was JUST A STAIN!!! It just came off!!!
What kind of a doctor invents unnecessary treatments??? What? He wanted to drill my FRONT tooth so he can have an extra buck???
Shame on him!!!
