I am on the east coast of Florida and my Mother is in Sarasota getting operated on by Dr. Sharan. She was operated twice by Dr. Sharan and she never got in touch with our family after both surgeries. Our Mother had complications during each surgery and I was never told or called. I called the hospital and her office for days and no return call back. My mother says she is a wonderful doctor but to do that to the family is inhuman. People have loved ones and they want to know if everything is ok. My brother and I were told it was an outpatient surgery and that she would be coming home the same day. We love our mother dearly and did not know she was going to be admitted. She has been there so far four days now. Today is the fourth day and I have still not received a call from Dr. Sharan. My brother and I are also in the healthcare industry and both of us have never seen such unprofessional actions towards the family members. Please relies when dealing with Dr. Sharan she is I am told a good Doctor but if some reason your family does not live in Sarasota you will not be contacted by her no matter how serious the situation is.

I saw her one time and hope never to go back. The little, blonde nurse who struggled to check my vital sign informed me, (after waiting almost 1-1/2 hrs for scheduled appt in an overheated waiting room), that I had dangerously high BP (210/110!). When the doctor came into the room, she did not address my BP, but patted me on the belly and stated, "Well, we have to get rid of this." (Fat, not pregnant) When I went back to my primary care doctor, he rechecked my BP (124/74) and told me the wrong size cuff can give a bad reading. She does not take the time to talk with her patients or, apparently, read the chart! I felt like I was on an assembly line.

I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. I was able to relax during my appointment here. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease.

Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary
