I have heard things about this provider, most of it pretty bad. My experience with him was terrible. He is arrogant, won't listen. Has no patience, talks down to you. Doesn't care to learn anything new because he knows it all. Please stay away for your own safety. The only positive thing I have to say is his staff is very courteous and friendly.

It is very difficult to work and see Dr. Faris. The office will not make appointments before 9:30A or after 3P and they are closed for lunch from 11:30A-1:30P so there is not a lot of time for them to see patients. Dr. Faris diagnosed me with a mass on my thyroid and put me on a prescription for 2 months after which we were going to do a biopsy of the mass. Well after taking this medication for 2 months and my health not improving he elected to not do the biopsy yet and instead wanted me to continue on the medication. I explained that this medication had been giving me headaches and making me feel like I had a temperature, but he assured me that was normal. I saw my PCP and explained what was going on only to learn that Dr. Faris did not have me on a thyroid medication, he had me on a diet pill! It was not treating the issue with my thyroid at all! While Dr. Faris is a nice man, the office in Hudson is filthy and the equipment is completely out of date. Most of the staff is nice. But the bottom line is that the doctor doesn't have enough time to see you, speak to you, and actually treat the problem. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I have been to see this doctor on several occasions at first I thought wow this Doctor really cares. He started me on the meds that seemed to do the trick he had the ultrasounds and did his own biopsies in the office. However, the ultrasounds took less than 10 seconds and he got an immediate diagnosis from 10 seconds and the wand barely touched my skin!! He did biopsies on my thyroid which i can clearly feel getting bigger and omg the way he was plunging tha needle into my throat I thought he was going to kill me. He just feeds me more and more meds. He even asks me if I WANT him to raise my you want me to give you more of this or that? We can raise this to double to try if you want? He has no clue. I am to the point of being scared to death that this doctor is flying by the seat of his is very nice. His staff is nice. I get appointments when ever i need them. But nice does not keep you alive.I am still 100% fatigued. I am still not feeling well. I have scheduled an appt with a different endo for my thyroid just for a second opinion and have my regular pcp schedule her own thyroid ultrasound because i do not feel that he is doing a proper job. I am a nurse by profession and i know when something is wrong with my body. One more thing...I have swollen lymphnodes all over my entire body and he said it is nothing. HOW is that possible? Lymphnodes do not swell up and stay that way unless something is seriously wrong. Along with my blood work my white blood count is above normal, my rbc,hct,hbg, are all extremely low, along with a bunch of other blood work that has been abnormal for the last 8 months or more. It has been all just over looked. He should not be overlooking something so critical. If you look up his profiles on the internet he treats car accident patients , workmans comp patients, and is basically an ambulance chaser. Meaning, he is all in it for the extra money. I am not saying he couldnt be a good doctor I am saying he isnt acting like one anymore. He used to be concerned about my health and would immediately jump into action when he seen things were wrong with blood work or biospies or untrasounds. Now he is failing to spend more than 5 minutes per patient IF You are lucky! Its a shame because he was one of my favorite doctors. Now I am looking to have him replaced ASAP!

They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. I had to look for a long time before I finally found their qualifications. They need to make them more obvious. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you.

First of all this doctor's bill is BEYOND excessive. $1,400 for a botched biopsy?! Are you kidding me?! Even after my insurance I still owed him $580 and he didn't even perform the biopsy correctly in that he didn't take enough samples making me have to undergo additional testing at an additional cost! I sent them $50 a month while I waited for them to return my calls - I even put a note in one of my payments telling them I will not send any more money until they contact me! They never replied and then they sent me to collections! Someone explain to me how a 30 minute appt is $1,400 yet when I ended up having surgery (with another doctor) that bill was only $1,500 for a 2 hour surgery??!?!?! I would NEVER recommend you go here unless you want bad test results and a giant bill!!
