They have a lot of very neat equipment in this office, and I feel that patients are screened well for any possible dental needs, but it is kind of a cattle call kind of place. I feel like they do not remember patients between visits. I am admittedly a nervous dental client, and having the person with the pointy stuff in their hands ask me why I am there is a bit nerve racking. Every time I have been to this office I have had to wait far too long in the lobby. Also, I truly understand the medical system in America, and how difficult it is for medical professionals to cover overhear etc with the fees remitted by insurance companies. However, I feel that treatments are unnecessarily broken up into multiple appointments, and that the wait between appointments is excessive. The people are all very nice, and answer all questions kindly and thoughtfully. I am concerned that they all seem to have a conflict with one of the women who works at the front desk. I am sure we all have people at work that we are less comfortable with, or who, by the nature of their job, make ours less pleasant, but I do not give a shit about the personality conflicts of the office staff, and have no interest in their feelings about it, or hanging around to make arrangements for my dental needs while they bicker.

I had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment but I eventually got in. When I left my appointment, my gums didn't stop bleeding for quite a while. They should have been more careful while they were flossing my teeth. Every time I visit, I have to remind them why I'm visiting them. It makes me feel like they don't care about me. They briefly explained my dental procedure to me, but I wish they had given me more information. I was still somewhat nervous about the procedure. The dentist wasn't very friendly or welcoming. I probably wouldn't take kids here.When I tried to switch dentists, they made it VERY difficult for me to get my xrays to be switched over. Very frustrating. This is one of the only dentists in CT that takes adult medicaid and this is reflected in their attitude towards their customers. I do NOT recommend this place.
