My family and I switched our health care to this office around 7 years ago. Prior to entering into care at this office, my husband and I had been seeing a doctor who had no hospital privileges. I learned how important it was to have a doctor with hospital privileges when my husband and daughter were both sent to the hospital for suspected pneumonia. We ended up at a hospital more than 25 miles from our home in an unfamilar neighborhood with no friendly familiar faces. He was hospitalized. She and I spent over 9 hours in the ER and ended up home around midnight
After this incident, we sought care with a new doctor's office that had hospital privileges. We have never looked back and have never regretted switching doctor's offices. The first doctors we saw here were Dr. Griffin and Dr. Walden. With four active children in our family, we have seen most of the rest of the doctors and even the PA's at some point. They have all been wonderful. Even if the front desk staff hasn't seen us in a year (which is rare), she always remembers us and has some positive comments. The nurses are so compassionate and kid friendly. There is always someone with a smile to help out and hand out a lollipop or some stickers after the dredded shot or blood draw.
We have never had a bad experience with this clinic. The staff is courteous, considerate and prompt with both appointments and if you need a call back on something. We have four children, and they have been taking care of three out of the four of them since they were infants. We have seen them for a wide range of things including diabetes, pneumonia, stitches, joint pain, general health and well being and so much more. The office has caring, knowledgeable professionals that really make sure they are doing the best they can for their patients. There is not a doctor or practitioner at this office that I would hesitate to see...all of their care is fantastic.
Doctor Griffin, especially, has been very helpful and caring while dealing with the special needs of our family. He is very good at taking a whole-person approach to dealing with issues. His first thought is not necessarily to throw a prescription at something but to try and deal with the whole issue. He really makes the best decision for the patient using the patient and/or the parent's input.
While this is a busy office, Doctor Griffin is never rushed or too busy to talk through all of your concerns. He also understands the financial impact of healthcare on families and does his best to work within your financial constraints while still keeping up the highest quality of care. We have felt nothing but compassion and caring from this office. I have recommended this office to many people and will continue to do so in the future. I am a picky patient and a very protective mommy and I have never been disappointed with this office and its staff.
