It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members. They were very qualified and knowledgeable. I could tell that they've been doing their job well for quite a while. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded.

I don't know what is wrong with all of these people but from the moment I walked through the door I've had nothing but problems coming from them. My first pregnancy has been horrible because each time I am scheduled for a visit they never take me in on time, though you're supposed to be in there to pee in a cup get your blood pressure taken and weight taken within twenty minutes, I'm there for more than 45 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment. Anytime I'm having an emergency there is no one to answer the phone and if I needed an emergency visit they made me wait two hours both times!! I went to their emergency room at Smith Northview ONCE and was midhandled by the doctors and nurses were curt and unfriendly. In the waiting rooms at the ER I was told by a doctor that "there was nothing he could do to prevent a miscarriage", he sounded as if he was judging me and assuming it was my fault! This is my first pregnancy and I was three months along!
Not to mention the two sarcastic, uninformed OB/GYN's there. After four months of pregnancy I saw my OB for the FIRST TIME. She was curt, sarcastic and just plain nasty to me. She pressured me to get bloodwork that would cost me out of pocket because "her other patients had the tests". I opted out because she also told me," there are many false positives but a only a few false negatives in the bloodwork tests". This to me seemed very unprofessional and pointless as far as getting tested for something that isn't even accurate! Yet she pressured it so bad and told me that reading baby books or "what to expect when expecting" would only make me worry about pointless things. I'd rather be informed because my OB would never take my concerns into account! I have had an absolutely dreadful time trying to contact these people still to get my records transferred to South GA medical. No one answers the phone and when they do, THEY DON'T CARE! I was so astounded as I've never been treated so unprofessionally and without compassion, as I assumed an OB/GYN would need to be. I don't want these disgusting people (Ellen Courson and Danielle McFarland) to even touch my child when it comes out. IF you're at this OB already, my serious condolences...get out while you can.
