I had a crown come off of my tooth and I went to Dr. Graham to see what could be done about the situation. I was told that he couldn’t cement my crown back on and my options were to get a new crown made or to just pull the tooth. No decision was made that day, so my crown was put into an envelope and kept at the dentist office. I had a cleaning scheduled for a month and a half after this first appointment with Dr. Graham. I told them I would let them know my decision at this visit. In the meantime, my husband and I had heard some troubling information about Dr. Graham, therefore we decided to cancel my appointment and asked if we could come and pick up my crown that had been left at their office. We were told at this point that my crown had been thrown away. We didn't understand this so my husband and I decided to go to the dentist and see exactly what had happened. At the office on April 28, 2010 we spoke directly to Dr. Graham and an assistant. During this process I asked the dentist if he had my crown and he told me that it had been thrown in the trash because it wasn’t any good. I plainly told Dr. Graham that he didn’t have my permission to throw my crown away and I wasn’t informed that this was going to happen. From that point Dr. Graham accused me of wanting my crown back because I wanted to go sale it to get extra cash. As a patient, I don’t think that this is a professional response to any question or complaint. I told him that those weren’t my intentions and that he had no right to throw my crown away. He then told me several times in a very angry and disrespectful tone of voice that the crown was no good and that there was no point in him keeping it. I tried to get my point across that I wasn’t given a choice in the matter. I wanted to go and get a second opinion, but because he had thrown my crown away I no longer had that as an option. And again he told me the two statements that are stated above. I clearly disagree with his actions and his attitude towards me. I do not recommend Dr. Graham to anyone!
