I have been a patient at Burlington Dental for several years. John (the dentist) made a bridge for me and did a good job. They were not on my Blue Cross Blue Shield so I changed to a dentist that accepted my insurance. Recently, I noticed that they were now on my insurance as a preferred provider. I went in to talk to the receptionist about scheduling an appointment. She was an older woman. When I asked about what my obligation would be for a cleaning she was EXTREMELY rude. She had no idea what the co-pay would be nor if they would charge me the difference between what the insurance company paid and what they billed them. She said she could guarantee nothing. Her attitude was abysmal. She started ranting that they were closed and basically that I shouldn't be there. For a small town such as Burlington, this is not the way to treat a patient. You may rest assured that I will pass this along to the community. I told her she had lost me as a patient. John is OK, she is a jerk!
