If you seek a dentist that places your wellness, health and well-being as a priority then Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana is not the dental office for you! Twice a year I go for cleanings and exams to maintain healthy dental care. During my very first exam the dentist told me that he “was not going to make any money off me!” I never heard a professional healthcare provider said that to me even if they were joking. I did not appreciate his humor but at first I took it with a grain of salt. Big mistake on my part! In Dec a crown fell off so I called Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana to get an appointment so that the crown could be put back on. I told Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana that I was unable to come in until the following Mon but the office staff insisted that I come in the next day since the dentist would be available. I live nearly 60 miles away but I begrudgingly agreed since I wanted to get the crown put back on. In addition to the insurance I requested the amount that I would have to pay and I was told my cost was $35. The dentist put the crown back on and only AFTERWARDS did this dentist notify me of his professional opinion which was that the crown was worn out and that he was uncertain if it would stay in. That annoyed me because my experience with dentists has always been that they discuss their opinions and findings BEFORE they do the work so that their patient can have the opportunity to make an informed decision. Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana did not offer me this option. Then when I went to pay the bill--my cost had inflated by double. The office manager told me that since Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana was able to get me to be treated within 24 hours that their office was able to charge me an ER visit according to my insurance contract. I reiterated the message and price quoted to me on the phone and she told me that is what I need to pay. I asked this office manager if she thought that it would have been worth mentioning to me the day before that I would have to incur an ER cost but sadly she did not respond. I also asked her if I requested to come in that day or if I had requested to come in the following Mon and again, she did not respond. I heard the message loud and clear---MONEY--MONEY & MONEY! Less than 3 weeks later the crown fell off and when I called Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana informed me that I would be charge double the price to have the crown glued back on. Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana behavior has repeatedly demonstrated the act of “nickeling and diming” me while Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana has chosen not to honor their work performed or show any concern for their patient dental needs. Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana primary focus is on the all mighty dollar while patient care, treatment and satisfaction take backseat. Since I have now found a new dental office I have requested Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana forward my recent x rays. Sadly, Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana has demanded that I pay them a fee to have my X-rays forwarded. I informed them that these X-rays have been paid and that they are mine and I have never heard of being charged to have paid X-rays forwarded to another medical office. But Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana insisted that I submit a check to obtain copies of my x-rays that have already been paid for. I have found Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana to be more focused on money and how much they can get from patients while their deliverance of high quality patient care falls extremely short. If you only seek routine cleanings then Associated Dentists of Northwest Indiana can provide such a basic service but any other dental needs and treatments --my suggestion is to keep looking! There are many other professional and skilled dentists within a short distance that provide much higher quality patient care at affordable rates.

They always go above and beyond to make sure I understand every single detail about my dental procedures. I'm always able to get all my questions answered, and I'm never nervous about starting a procedure. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. The toothpaste they used during my cleaning tasted fantastic. It was one of the best I've ever tasted.

They make sure to treat all their clients equally and without favoritism. I've always hated it when I've seen favoritism going on at other places I've visited. It's nice that it doesn't happen here. I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here. I was satisfied with my visit and feel that it was time and money well spent. The toothpaste they used during my cleaning tasted great. It made the experience that much better. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable.

I've never gotten a call to remind me about my upcoming appointment. It made me feel like they didn't care whether I showed up or not. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. They definitely promised me a few things that they weren't able to fulfill. Most of what they said was accurate, but not all. All the equipment at this office seems very safe and current. Everything looks well taken care of and fairly new. They definitely favor certain clients, and make an extra effort to help those clients. I don't appreciate them charging me for canceled appointements. Mindy, the office manager was the rudest I have ever experienced in my life. She demanded I pay some fees plus for the canceled appointment. never going back there again!!!

They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. My teeth cleanings have always been very comfortable, and I've never experienced any pain. They always go above and beyond to make sure I'm relaxed.
