Doctor Fishman is a 10+. Kind, compassionate, wise, insightful and incredibly knowledgeable. The office staff is pleasant but could be better at communicating and letting one know something is being worked out as opposed to having no contact until the question is answered. It would be helpful to let the patient know it's being worked on.

I often provide emails to OHP as updates prior to my appointments. Prior to my last appointment which was 4 months from the former appointment, I sent an update with the medications, tinctures, and neutraceuticles to the staff and Dr. Fishman. I received an email response from the staff tanking me for the update. During this visit, I was asked about what I was taking. I asked, 'Did you get my email will all of this listed.'. The answer was 'No'. After looking through my file, the email was found. This has been typical of previous attempts to email updates.

I have been seeing Dr. Fishman for almost a year for Lyme Disease. I believe he is extremely knowledgeable about the human body and illness but in particular his knowledge of 'Lyme' is exceptional. My only wish would be for my 'treatments' to be covered by insurance. Other than the expense of my treatment being out of pocket, this is the only thing I would want changed. I feel cared about, welcomed and even look forward to coming to his office as all of his staff our encouraging and very empathetic.

It's refreshingly unique in the world of health care today to find a doctor AND staff that genuinely care. OPH goes above and beyond to do what they can to support, assist, comfort and provide services to help patients. This starts at the top. Dr. Fishman is by far one of the best doctors, (I have seen way too many to count) I have dealt with in my 50 something years. He provides a holistic approach that is as unique to each patient, as the patients are unique! His care and compassion is authentic and just as unique as the approach to his patients. His ability to communicate and fully explain the diagnosis, the 'why' you are feeling symptoms or the issues you have, and the strategies with a plan that leads you to wellness. I cannot say enough about this practice, Dr. Fishman, the other physicians, Kathryn Fishman, and support staff. They all played a part in my care, Dr. Fishman is and forever will be the hero lifesaving force behind my wellness~a true hero to me and my family.
