Over the last week or so my mother has lost hearing in one of her ears. Obviously upset with the situation she finally reached out to a doctor. She calls Dr. Eric Johnson's office to see if her insurance was accepted. The "receptionist" and I use that term loosely read to her the three insurances that the doctor does not take. Just to reinterate my mothers asks her specifically about her insurance as it is not widely accepted. Now this "woman" again I use the term loosely does not know the state of the person on the other end of the lines health. She could be on deaths ddor and she has the audacity to reply "it isnt on the list I just read you was it?". It gets far better. After speaing with my mother who is very upset at this time I called the doctor's office to speak with the receptionist. After questioning this "person", again I use the term loosely, why she found it necessary to talk to a person the way she did she called me a "b*tch" and hung up the phone. Needless to say I never had the opportunity to speak or meet with Dr. Johnson nor has my mother but if this is the environment he fosters why would anyone even enter his doors. There are plenty of doctors available within the Plymouth, MA area. I suggest if you are in search of a physician you call elsewhere.
