Yes! He/she took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

All the time, and they usually don't notify me until right before my scheduled appointment

I was very unimpressed. We got there ten minutes before the appointed time, and waited another thirty after my time slot because they were EATING LUNCH. During MY appointment. After the doctor finished his burrito and powwow with his staff, he asked his secretary "Oh, are there patients?" I finally got in, we talked for about 7 minutes after a very quick and rushed diagnosis. I will give him credit for prescribing the right meds, but that's all. In the follow up, I again waited a long time, only to be seen for five minutes. I went to pay the lady my co-payment. She shooed me off for five minutes while copying some dudes licence onto a piece of paper, After which she asked for a credit card. I don't own one. So i waited another ten minutes for her to get the doctor and get the correct change. I am NEVER going back. Either the previous reviews were when the guy had some respect for his patients, or he has his staff come on this site and post fake reviews to make him look good. Either way, stay the hell away from this psychiatrist.

Here's what a visit to this office was like; I'd wait for sometimes close to an hour past the scheduled time. I'd finally get in to see Bahnassi, he'd ask me how I was doing, ask if I needed a refill for a prescription, and then I was out again in 15 minutes or less. When I had a problem with my insurance, he simply stopped taking my phone calls and refilling my prescriptions over a delayed $130 payment. They didn't even return my calls to tell me there'd been a problem with my insurance, which I hadn't been aware of. They simply stopped communicating with me, stopped writing my prescriptions, and finally sent me a bill threatening to send me to collections without ever giving me the opportunity to address the situation. I found my treatment callous and uncaring, considering that I was being treated for a condition including suicidal ideation. It was like being told, "You were late with your $130, so I don't care if you kill yourself." I would NOT recommend this psychiatrist to anyone with any sort of serious problem. You're not worth two tanks of gas for his car; there's someone else ready to take your space, so you don't matter.
