Dr. Luzader is a great dentist. I have had similar treatment in the past and this has been by far my best experience getting a root canal done. The staff and the office are very nice. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I had 2 root canals in a short period of time. I was never told to follow up for a check. I went back to my regular dentist who indicated that a follow up should have been scheduled a few weeks later to check the root canals. He called Dr. Luzader's office who called me to schedule a follow up now 5 months later. I now required surgery. The surgery was 2 hours long and one of the most painful things I had experienced, The local only worked for the about half of the surgery then he had to keep stopping to administer more except it didn't control the pain at all. It was one of the most painful things I had ever experienced. Find another dentist who can control your pain and follow up ---- perhaps the surgery could have been avoided.

I was in a lot of pain and was told by my dentist that I needed a root canal. She recommended Dr. Luzader at Chesapeake Endodontic Center and scheduled an appointment for me the next day. The pain escalated and I called Dr. Luzader. Their philosophy is to see anyone who is in pain right away. They performed the root canal that evening. The procedure went well and Dr. Luzader and their staff were very calming. I was scared and hadn't had any work performed on my teeth (other than cleanings) for over 20 years. This center has the latest and greatest technology and the procedure was painless. They use a microscope to ensure the work is precisely done. They also use computerized Novacaine called the Wand, which administers with a small needle that you never feel. Dr. Luzader has such a great touch that I had no pain, even afterwards. I didn't even need a Tylenol!! He talked to me the entire time and explained each step as he performed them. I mostly kept my eyes closed to relax but enjoyed the digital x-rays once he was finished. If you have to get a root canal, this is the place to go and Dr. Luzader is the one to do it!

I moved here from Chicago and had to get a root canal a little over a year ago. Never having felt one second of pain from my Chicago Dentist, I was nervous about a new one. I was referred to Luzader by a local office. The office is very nice and seems to be a pleasant place to have a root canal. Luzader is claimed to be a specialist in this procedure. After sitting in the waiting room for over 2 hours in major pain, I was seated in the "chair of pain". Luzader supposedly numbed the area, but when he started to poorly drill into my tooth, my body felt shockwaves of pain. Not only did the drill "skip" a fe times, jarred my entire head, but I was in pain the whole time. There were 4 roots that had to be drilled out and even the tears flowing down my cheeks and the death grip my hands had on the arm rests did not seem to bother Luzader. I exclaimed my pain through many ways, yet I was not cared about as I have been in the past. All they cared about when I was leaving was receiving immediate payment. I didnt think to bring my card as the pain I was in was huge, and they seemed totally put off by it. My tooth still hurts a year later as reminder of my visit to the horrible "Dr Pain".

I've never seen a dental office that cares about their patients more than they do. They've never pressured me to get dental procedures I don't need, and they always have my best interest in mind. It's always bugged me when other dentists' I've visited didn't take the time to really examine my teeth. I didn't encounter that here at all, they made an extra effort to inspect my teeth very thoroughly. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here.
