It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. They were friendly and made me feel at home. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for.

Did this dentist allow you to regularly rinse your mouth during your procedure?
Once or twice, but not enough
Did you experience any unnecessary pain while your teeth were cleaned?

After being a patient for more that 20 years and referring more than a dozen people who are still patients at the practice, I was informed that I could not get the appointment time that was convenient for me because the practice has a policy that you must alternate appointment times between morning and afternoon. There are no evening hours. I offered to even wait for the next available afternoon and explained that I have limited leave and wanted to reduce the amount of time my child would miss school. I further explained the commute issue but nothing mattered. The appointment I had made with the receptionist in the afternoon was changed by the manager to the morning without first consulting me with only 2 days notice when I had waited 2 months for the appointment. So I asked to my son's medical records so that I could take him to another practice that did not have such a policy and instead of giving me his records as requested, they gave me a copy of my billing account statement. I called to ask again for the records and after-the-fact they explain that the records belong to the practice, so I had to explain that I didn't want the file, just a copy of the notes for which I am entitled by law. They even owed me a refund when it was all said and done. I left messages for the owner, othrodontist (with whom we had a consult) and my son's hygenist. To date no one has returned any calls.

This is definitely a case where I was not informed of policy in advance and my family's needs as a client were completely ignored.

The customer service at this office is terrible. The office staff is unprofessional and rude. I have had positive experiences here, but the negative experiences were pretty bad. No one should leave their dentist's office feeling insulted. I have been treated by two different dentists and both were aloof and unfriendly. Asking simple (but relevant) questions resulted in indirect insults. Finally, I could not take it anymore! I took my unappreciated business elsewhere!
