I will definitely recommend them to people I know. The chairs in their waiting room weren't the best but they served their purpose and I couldn't complain. It's always uncomfortable having to sit through a dental procedure when they use really cold or hot water to rinse your teeth, but they didn't do that here. They made sure that I was comfortable with the water's temperature.

I'd like to give zero stars for Family Dentistry. I USED to have good teeth, but these hacks made a mess of them and after two years I'm STILL trying to get things fixed. Furthermore, they bullied my 7-year old son when he kept gagging on the things they put in your mouth for x-rays. I wish, wish, wish I had read reviews before going to these incompetent hacks. Stay away!!

Not at all. They saw me but didn't greet me at all

Absolutely! They explained everything in detail and made sure I understood before my procedure

Tip of the iceberg: Bad Dentists

Not the best dentists

I have read many negative reviews about Family Dental after going there. Too bad I did not read them first. Before going there. Family Dental tried to sell me all kinds of procedures that I did not need. I have now had this confirmed by other dentists. The dental cleaning was not a cleaning at all. It was the worst cleaning I ever had. It took 20 minutes at best. It was more of a pre-sale evaluation.

I also heard that Family Dental used to be a decent practice, but they were sold within the last year or two. They are now corporate owned. So, some reviewers who have liked Family Dental may be very displeased with the new corporate owned Family Dental.

Not only this, I also read some reviews that said a few negative reviews is nothing in the scheme of things (over 20 years), but most unhappy patients do not write reviews. They simply do not go back.

So, negative complaints are just the tip of the iceberg. The negative reviews on this dental practice represent that statistical proportion of the overall population that are not happy with Family Dental.

In other words, there are far more negative reviews on Family Dental than positive reviews, and I agree with almost all of them. So, get a second opinion. Do not trust this corporate owned dental practice.

It apparently is NOT the same dental practice that you used to know.

Both of my children get their dental care here and they receive great care. The dentist and the dental assistants are very gentle and kind and are really great with the kids. My kids have had no cavities reported, no drilling or unnecessary xrays or extractions. We are very happy with this dental pracatice for our children.

Family dental is one of the most dishonest dental practices I've ever encountered. Listen to what other reviewers have said here. These dentists will drill for cavities and root canals whether you really need them or not. I'm not saying that they'll blatantly drill a tooth where nothing is wrong. I can't be sure about that, but they'll drill for anything that gives them an excuse to drill. A false error shadow on your x-ray will give them this reason.

These dentists will also charge you extra for periodiontal maintenance when they should be giving you a standard cleaning instead.

These are money hungry dentists. And when you're money hungry, you tend to provide dental work that may or may not be needed.
