I have never had to get emergency dental work done before last Sunday.
I found Dr. Stephens via a google search, made a call to his personal cell phone and I was in the chair getting the pain relief that had been looking for, for the last 24 hrs. He went right to work and had the tooth taken care of within 20 minutes after my arrival. I am schedule to have the 2nd visit of my root canal done this Wednesday. He is now my new personal dentist after having been with my previous one for the last 8 years. And he after hours charges are very reasonable.

8:00PM Labor day Monday horrible tooth ache. I called four Dentist who claimed to be emergency dentist. No one called me back. So I tried DR. Stephens, and he answered my call immediately. Within an hour I was in the office and out of pain. This guy is the real deal.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was easy enough to find. Excellent Doctor, small operation.I'm from out of town and had an emergency. He took care of me and his prices were fair. Due to my other medical conditions I have a hard time at home getting a Dentist to work on me. Dr. Stephens after going over everything has been very good to work with, I would highly recommend him, if you aren't sure about something just ask him. I've been down here in SLC over the last 3 years and Dr. Stephens has done an excellent job with my teeth and at a fair price, where I come from in Idaho, they are $200 MORE EXPENSIVE FOR CAPPING A TOOTH. If you have issues with the billing talk to the person in his office and they will get it right.

I had an infected broken tooth that had to be pulled. I was extremely anxious due to a horrible past experience but I had nothing to worry about. I felt nothing and the tooth was out very quickly. I am very satisfied and recommend anyone, especially anyone with an urgent need to him. On top of that, he was more reasonably priced than other dentists I called and was able to see me within hours of calling on a Saturday. Thank goodness!

Available after hours. Did a great job figuring out what was wrong then fixed the problem. Got me really numb even though I was in a lot of pain. Small office but very comfortable. He explained that they do take my insurance but that he was not a provider. The insurance will pay the out of network benefit. That's OK with me because it was worth it to go out of network. Dr Stephens really helped when I was in need. Definitely going back.

I am midway through some dental work, so I'm not 100% sure about this yet... I called the dentist late at night for a dental emergency, he met me over at the office at probably 11 pm. I was trying to make it through the night and quickly realized I just couldn't take it. He said he accepted our insurance but that we needed to pay upfront and if/when the insurance pays we will be reimbursed. Not too unreasonable considering it was outside of regular office hours. He began the first stage of a root canal, he said it takes 3 visits to do one? I've only had one other root canal and it was when I was much younger and it only took one visit. Perhaps things have changed... I did find out; however, that they will "bill my insurance" but aren't "providers". My bad for not specifically asking if they were providers after he told me he "acceepted my insurance". I've had the 2nd stage done now and go back next week to finish it and am in a LOT of pain. He did provide painkillers and antibiotics the first visit but I didn't expect it to still be hurting this bad. I've called the office and am stil waiting on a call back. They text messaged me the day after my first treatment to see how I was doing which I thought was prudent and professional but no such luck today. I have not had a lot of dental work done and certainly none recently. I haven't read very many positive reviews and I've paid almost $600 out of pocket to date so I'm very leery. He does seem like a knowledgable guy and is very professional and explains what he's doing. His staff is nice and scheduling wasn't difficult. It is a smaller office which I find kind of comforting, like it is more personal and you're not just one of many. He is obviously very accomadating with emergency visits and what not which is greatly appreciated when you're in a lot of pain. I'm hoping for the best.

I visited Dr. Stephens on a Sunday for a dental emergency (painful abscess under a crown). He was prompt, helpful and pleasant. He rapidly diagnosed the problem, prescribed antibiotics, numbed the jaw for an impending plane ride, and shortened the crown so that it wouldn't hit and cause pain. A pleasure to deal with.

Very professional. Did everything they said they were going to do. Good priced for value and service. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here.
