I would not recommend Summers Manor to my worst enemy. I moved and decided to try Summers Manor for my last pregnancy of my third child. I lasted 2 months of my pregnancy, could not take the office anymore and had to switch doctors. The staff is rude and lazy and the doctor doesn't listen to your requests. Anytime I called I felt as if I were bothering them, whether it was to make an appointment or if I had a question. When I had left the office, months later I got a bill in the mail that was almost 800$ for a cystic fibrosis test that I never approved to get done. Even though I had denied the test, as I had done with everyone of my children, she apparently threw it in with my blood work and then charged my insurance. My insurance isn't covering it, so now I am left with an 800$ bill for a test I never wanted and never got the results for. When I approached the office about the matter the office managers secretary called me back almost a month later, because the manager was apparently too busy to call me back, she relayed a message that their office will take absolutely no responsibility for their doctors mistake and that the bill falls back on me. There is no paperwork that I signed saying that I wanted the optional test done, but now I am forced to pay a bill because their office will not take responsibility for their doctors mistake. After I had this problem I started asking around about the office and found that several people had problems with this practice.
