Dr. Shay was my doctor in two periods of my life. 93-95 & again in 2003-2007. He is one of the greatest doctors I have ever seen. His insight, his thoughtful manner, his great humor -- he is the standard by which all other doctors in my life are judged. If you are lucky enough to get to be his patient, you will be the happiest and on your way to healthiest New Yorker in the city.

Dr. Shay is a good doctor and a nice man who is overwhelmed w/too many patients.

So why did I such a low rating. His billing staff sucks beyond belief. I am no longer a patients (having nothing to do w/him) and have been billed for the last 7 months for a co-pay for a physical exam (which the fat idiot at the front desk told me did not require a co-pay).

To receive monthly invoices after you have contacted the office 7 times and the idiots PROMISE "it will never happen again" is sheer incompetence.

If you are willing to put up w/this kind of crap, so be it. I am not.
