I am a 25 year old woman and I went to this MD for years and I still can't figure why I kept going - disappointment after disappointment. I suppose I very much like the NP who worked with me but as far as Dr. Gewirtz is concerned she could not be less interested in her patients. I could tell I wasn't her primary concern and neither were her other patients. One time she started talking to me about another patient and their situation and I recognized the story and realized she was speaking about my friend - who I might add left this practice as well after the staff told her mother her annual results instead of her own after they made appointments together. The last straw was when I went for an annual and they neglected to call me for over 2 weeks, I then called myself and after a few scoffs from the staff they told me my results were fine. I received a call the following day from a nurse ( I could tell she was speaking to me like a dog with her tail between her legs) who told me I in fact was not okay and needed to come back. Needless to say, I had my records forwarded to another office and I will never be back. I also might add, through the grapevine I heard Dr. Gewirtz has 30,000 patients which makes sense considering no one knows who or what results are. I know I am not confident knowing that I am lost in a practice. I work for an MD and trust me when I say this woman only see $ signs and that is her primary concern. Do yourself a favor and avoid this snob of a doctor and her snob staff and go to someone you can trust.

Kind of, but not very much

It was my first time going to her she was recommended from a friend Im 50 yrs old and been to many different Dr's in my time but never have I made an appointment for a new visit and then to be examed by another Dr. Not to mention 55 min later. After being examed I was told to go into the Dr.'s office and wait for her. Dr. Gewirtz came in and introduced herself then started talking about what I needed but spoke to me like a robot, Do this ,this this etc no real words to understand very quick and not caring. No I would not recommend her to any of my friends or family. She just wants you in and out next please. Not interested!

They always made sure that I wasn't in any pain. I know that they have a lot of clients here so I understand that they many not remember my name every time, but I am always really impressed when I walk in the door and am greeted by name. They always try to make the effort and for this I am grateful. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. I've been places before where they were argumentative and angry, so I was nervous that I would encounter that here as well. Instead, they were very calm and understanding the entire time. I could tell they really care about everyone who visits them.
