I had the worst life changing experience with this practice I feel obligated to tell my story so this never happens to anyone again! If you are pregnant and want a c section go to this practice- this is all they are good for! Dr Abitista tried to convince my to have a c section for no apparent reason when I was 7 months! I had a perfect pregnancy, no issues at all!!! Until what these doctors put me through at my delivery. three days after my due date I went in the office for a sonogram, it was then when they told me my baby was already over 10.5 llbs and if I wanted that vaginal delivery I was to check into white plains hospital the next morning for an induction. I was given a cervadil stayed overnight with no results----because my body was not ready to give the birth!!!! I then had my water broken by doctor Ainsworth at 8 am who also started me on pittocen. That worked right away by 430 I got an epidural- by 830 I was 8cm and doctor Ainsworth was in the delivery room complaining to everyone how tired she was and she had be there for 48 hours. At 930 I was a little past 8 cm, the nurses told me I was going to push soon. Dr Ainsworth came in checked me and said if I dont get to 10 soon she will section me. I got so nervous at the thought of a c section I started to gag and threw up a bit of water from my ice chips. Dr Ainsworth made the call that since I threw up I was sick and performed an emergency c section at 10pm my daughter was pulled out of me at 10:19pm. Because I already had the epidural they just continued with that and I was in in explainable pain feeling most of the surgery screaming the entire time. To cover their tracks they also said my daughter was exposed to my non existing virus so she was in the neonatal unit for my entire 6 day stay at the hospital. Being poked and protted for every test possible. Her apgar results were perfect and she weighed in at only 7 pounds 11 ounces!!! The whole reason for the induction was because they told me she was over 10 pounds!!!! Bottom line is they wanted to give me the surgery and thats what they did- I should have never trusted them from the 1st signs they gave me. I since know about 6 or 7 people that have gone to this practice for their pregnancies and guess what????? They all had to have c sections too!!! Don't trust them! They changed my life forever!!! They have the worst reputation around!!!
