I understood the process and significance of the procedure, however, Dr. Goldstone understated the pain involved - he suggested Tylenol and that I could return to work the same day. Luckily it was a late afternoon session and was I nearly home when the pain really kicked-in. Thank goodness for leftover pain meds from a recent wisdom tooth extraction and taking two days off from work - just in case.

Follow-up was dreadful. Despite asking to meet with the physician, all future appointments were scuttled off to the PA. Both individuals handling his phone give me the feeling as though it is a tremendous bother to see the doctor - more than the cursory two minutes he gives at the end of your 20-minute visit. When I restated continued complications and bleeding six months later despite following the prescribed regimen, my "request" to see Dr. Goldstone was noted.

Bleeding six months later should be cause for concern and his staff should be savvy enough to understand that clearly the surgeon needs to be more actively involved. As I mentioned to both individuals, you are making appointments and I am living in this body; and am no longer requesting Dr. Goldstone - I had to be a little more insistent.

Overall, I am incredibly disappointed with the overall level of care and lack of concern by Dr. Goldstone's office.

Their equipment was very advanced and sophisticated. I was very impressed. I appreciated how easy it was to get an appointment with them. I was able to talk with them way before my surgery, and I felt much more comfortable going into surgery. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan.

I have had a great experience with him. He has a fantastic, non-judgmental bedside manner. He made smart and helpful suggestions and made sure I understood his instructions.

It was far from the subway. I appreciated how easy it was to get an appointment with them. I was able to talk with them way before my surgery, and I felt much more comfortable going into surgery. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time. I've been telling everyone I know how great Stephen Goldstone, MD is. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important. They always go out of their way to make me feel respected and cared for.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.
