I had one really good visit with Dr. Chalker years ago when I came in with a very bad bladder infection (first time ever for me), and he gave me some drugs as samples for free, that worked phenomanally within a few hours. Most other visits have been for preventative stuff that was just routine, so nothing to mess up on.
The last time we saw him was for my teenage daughter who had been having a horrible time with her periods, and I wanted to get the pill for her to alleviate the cramps, crankyness and severe acne. My daughter went in by herself and told him she was not yet sexually active - which I knew was true. He totally humiliated her and told her she had to have an internal exam first (note: recommendation previously was for internal exam after three years of becoming sexually active, and now even has been changed to age 21 regardless) and that she needed to get a pregnancy test first. My daughter was in tears when she came out of the office, and I asked him why she needed an internal exam. His answer was the most stupid thing I have ever heard: to get a baseline so that she wouldn't have a false positive cervical cancer test in the future...So he humiliated my daughter and then insulted my intelligence with his nonsense answer! We immediately changed primary care physicians after this.

Dr Chalker prescribed medications for me on two occasions that I found out were completely unnecessary after seeing a specialist. When I had a serious problem he told me he really didn't think anything was wrong with me. I saw a specialist and had to have surgery. He was very rude and inconsiderate and absolutely does not listen to the patient. The staff is horrible. I can't believe anyone still goes to this office. He has a horrible reputation if you ask around town.
