The negative reviews of Dr. Amy are strange--why would someone write a review in October of 2011 claiming that their child got sick because there are no separate waiting rooms when there very clearly are? You walk in and have to choose between two clearly labeled doors! And the allegation that "they just wanted to make money" is just loopy. She spends tons of time with her patients--more than three-quarters of an hour for my twelve year old son today to get to the bottom of a mystery sore throat. We've been taking our kids to Sewanee Pediatrics for a decade now and we feel that she is a real ally.

Does the pediatrician over-treat your child for simple ailments?
Not at all! They give my child exactly what he/she needs
Does the pediatrician have other doctors or nurse practitioners that can provide care if the pediatrician is sick or unavailable?
Absolutely. They have plenty of nurse practioners and doctors as back-up support
Did you spend a lot of time in the waiting room at this provider's office?
No, my appointment started at the scheduled time
Did you notice a foul odor when you arrived at this provider's office?
Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!

No, they never mentioned anything about child safety or nutrition

Never, they are very reliable.

They try not to, but sometimes it happens.

Kind of, but I they could have been more understanding

No, and my child got sick as a result of it!
