They didn't tell me very much about my treatments' risks and benefits. I still felt like I had to do my own research. They treated me with utmost respect and were very kind. When I told them about my situation, they were somewhat understanding, but they could have been more caring. They didn't try very hard to understand where I was coming from.

I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here. They seemed really knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions in-depth. I understood all my options fully and they really took the time to make sure my questions were answered. I couldn't believe how great their office looked. It was very obvious that they took pride in the office's appearance. It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance.

I have been Dr Byron Holt's patient off and on since 1972. Dr Holt has delivered my children and my grandchildren. He has always been very attentive to any needs I had and took the time to answer any questions I had. Dr. Holt makes a point to stay up to date on the latest medical advances and has always maintained a professional staff. Dr. Holt's partners are always great drs as well.Trudy is one of the best RN's I have ever worked with . She is always very compassionate and has always done everything she could to address any issues I had.

The staff must have not been trained very well.After visiting for over a year, RN Trudy put me on 3 meds at once to balance my hormones.I was leveling out from my last visit but from only bloodwork she diagnosed me with PCOS and recommended a hysterectomy within a year. I was oddly introduced to Dr. Holt who had not treated me but after hearing I had recently lost over 40lbs. wanted to refer me to his plastic surgeon for lipo! He made me extremely uncomfortable and I told him I would continue to exercise instead. Within a month nearly all of my hair fell out.I was following instructions perfectly and was told this was not a side effect. I then continued to menstrate for 3 months and they did not want to take responsibility. I was told to keep taking the meds. I stopped after 3 months and never went back. My hair stopped falling out within a week of stopping the meds for hormone treatment.I moved out of state and it has been a year since my last visit. I feel great and am not on any meds. My hair is coming back about four inches long now. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious, but I question their professionalism. I feel foolish for having confidence in their ability to treat me.My initial visit was for a checkup and 6 visits later in a 3 month period I was frightened to be told I had unbalanced hormones and it could be serious.I am nearly 40 and realize now that this is normal. I wish I could get all that money back. If I had not been so embarrased about my hair loss I would have taken pictures for proof. One thing I don't like, is that I can't be confident that they'll work with me until they find the best solution for me. I'm always worried they're going to just settle with a solution that works. They don't really take that extra step to make me feel special. I'm just another client to them. A close friend was given similar meds for the same symptoms by a different Dr. She said she was given one med a time then tested to check the effects each time. She had little side effects as I had extreme.I was taking a combo of prolactin, birth control and cabergoline.I also experienced insomnia, weight gain and headaches. I am still haunted by the entire ordeal and only wish to share it to warn new patients to be cautious
and do your research. I made a terrible mistake in trusting their so called professional advice and paid dearly for it, phyically and financially.
