The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional.

I went to Dr. Oppenheim to get a consultation for treating mild adult acne. I had read several other reviews on this and other sites, many of which were very positive but several of which complained about his wait time and lack of bedside manner. However, since he was recommended to me by another doctor who I hold in high regard, I decided to give him a shot. Well, everyone is pretty much dead on in that his wait time was pretty lengthy (about an hour), and he really doesn't have any bedside manner... he appears a bit scattered brained and in his own head. That said, it was clear to me that he knows his specialty very well and is incredibly smart and does care about his patients and treating their problems -- even if he can't communicate with them very well. I did have to get him to repeat treatment instructions a few times, because he was tossing various samples at me and I wanted to ensure I understood when I was supposed to take, when. I'm sure for him all of that is second nature so it probably doesn't occur to him that a patient needs a little more clear explanation/guidance. I had the chance to talk to him after the appointment ended and he's truly a very nice guy who I believe is very good at what he does... communication is just not his strong suit. The staff was very friendly as well. I do think they need to do a better job of scheduling appointments to cut back on the wait time. Bottom line, I would recommend going to him if you're serious about wanting to get good treatment. Just be prepared for a unique experience.
