I recently moved to the area and did a little online research before calling to schedule an appointment with this provider. I called in early August and the earliest appointment was in late October. I was happy to wait because the online reviews were good and I understand the limited appointment availability for non-pregnant women. In early October I was notified by the practice that Dr. Nelson would be out of town and they would need to reschedule my appointment to early November. I was a little annoyed but understood. Now on November 1, I received another call saying that Dr. Nelson will be out of town AGAIN on my scheduled appointment and they would need to reschedule AGAIN! I have an incredibly inflexible work schedule (my schedule is made 3 months ahead of time and I have little control over it after it is set) and I simply can't rely on an office that keeps canceling appointments! I have now waited 3 months for an appointment and am back to square 1 with finding a new provider! Do not bother trying to schedule with Dr. Nelson! I am sure she is a great doctor, but unless you are a stay at home mom or a lady who lunches, I don't think her office practice will work with a professional's work schedule.
