To put a long story short, i went into their office because of wrist and hand pain. They tried a few things, didn't help and eventually ended up doing endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery. Surgery didn't help and was still in pain. He referred me over to PT at Saint Mary's. After a month of PT, still was in pain. After seeing a general doctor at St. Mary's hospital he did standard tests for carpal tunnel and said that I never had carpal tunnel and that I shouldn't have had the surgery. I went back to Blue Mountain and told them I was still in pain, he looked at my hand and then said he was going to send me to a different PT to work on shoulders. I was very frustrated. Since them I have had to leave school, work, because pain has been so bad. I moved back home to Portland area and am seeing a doctor, a chiropractor, and he said that I have terrible scar tissue. You should have heard my first appointment, it literally was breaking up in my hand, my hand was as hard as a rock. Now why didn't the doctor at Blue Mountain mention the scar tissue???? You would hope that a surgeon for orthopedics would know what scar tissue is. My hand is getting better now. It turned out to be RSI with some hyper-mobility issues. If a general doctor can diagnose me not having carpal tunnel and a chiropractor can fix my hand, something doesn't seem right there. I am not trying to say anything bad against Dr. Hutson, but simply explaining that I was deeply disappointed and not happy with treatment.
