By the Mather Nature and my profession as the research scientist I am not even buying a tooth brush without deep search of all my possibilities. Now you can imagine how much I searched for right place to put my 86 years old mom for rehab after hip replacement. Finally I choose the Westport and didn’t regret about it for any moment. I could not have asked for a better experience in a rehab-except not to have one at all!
The staff was all very professional, caring and concerned. They responded quickly to requests made and in some cases seemed to go beyond the requirements needed to tend to a patient. The rehab team is so warm and professional and makes the whole experience that much better. During the therapy they created so light, positive atmosphere that was very helpful to some straggling and depressed patients. To give this team five stars probably not enough. I can say same thing about the management officers. They are more then professional. You are really feeling that this people doing everything to keep patients comfortable and less stressful. As result this rehabilitation center is becoming your home for several weeks.

They are always polite which I really appreciate.. If you're looking for a dependable and trustworthy nursing home, look no further. I would recommend them to anyone I know. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. There was available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking.

They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. They had a couple of interesting magazines, but their selection wasn't very impressive. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation.

I read that Westport is a Five Star facility, I dont know who or how Westport was rated. I think it is because they pick and choose what kind of patient they want in their facility.
My Mother had her leg amputated. I called westport to see if they had any rooms available and if they did rehabilitation in senior patients and was told they did. Everthing was going fine and then I get a call from the Hosital saying that Westport would not take my mother with know reason why. I was told Westport accepted Medicare and Medicaid. My mother has Medicare and a supplmental insurance that would pay. I guess my mother was not up to there standards as a senior. I wil be contacting Medicare and medicaid to let them know about Westport.

I have contacted another Facilitiy and was told they would be happy to take my mother.
That just goes to show you that Westport has a Five star rating because they pick what type of patient they want. Not to help patients in need its all about$$$$$$$$$$$
